The Brant Foundation

The goal of the The Brant Foundation redesign was to create a responsive platform that allows for editorial flexibility and scalability while bringing the content to the forefront.

  • Led and executed both visual & interaction design as well as the overall strategic vision of the product

  • Established & executed interactions & designs of page templates across breakpoints

  • Conceptualized & produced animations of interactions & templates to communicate the vision for transitions, movement & site functionality

  • Established the framework for the style guide

Two weeks were spent defining the strategic vision, information architecture and three design directions.

Direction 1 used sublet color blocks help organize hierarchy. Overlapping elements entice users to engage and scroll through the content.

 

 

Direction 2 used rhythmic, organic layouts withminimalist interface elements.

Direction 3 was highly graphic using a mix of textures, shapes and colorful backgrounds.


 

The event landing page utilizes a sticky calendar component as a means to navigate the long scrolling page.

The exhibition landing page uses a similar sticky rail component as paradigm to browse through the years of exhibitions at the Brant Foundation.
